Colivara is a suite of services that allows you to store, search, and retrieve documents based on their visual embedding. ColiVara has state of the art retrieval performance on both text and visual documents. using vision models instead of chunking and text-processing for documents. No OCR, no text extraction, no broken tables, or missing images.

Parsing-free RAG supported by VLMs

Multimodal RAG to search and interact locally with technical documents of any kind

Obsidian OCR allows you to search for text in your images and pdfs

Eyes for text-only DeepSeek Harness agents: built-in free vision chain (no key) + pixel-level vision tools (Q&A, grounding, crop, pixel diff, colors, OCR, SVG trace, cutout, screenshots). One-command install, no Python, image turns work like ordinary tool-calling turns.

Hybrid RAG system combining vector search, knowledge graph (LightRAG), and cross-encoder reranking — with Docling document parsing, visual intelligence (image/table captioning), agentic streaming chat, and inline citations. Powered by Gemini or local Ollama models.

The code used to train and run inference with the ColVision models, e.g. ColPali, ColQwen2, and ColSmol.

Transparent Python RAG reference with FAISS + BM25 hybrid retrieval, reranking, Gradio UI, and FastAPI.
