PHP 8.5 reimplemented from scratch in Rust: bytecode VM, cycle-collecting GC, native mysqli/PDO. Runs the full WordPress core test suite at oracle parity on real MySQL, plus Composer, PHPUnit, Doctrine, Symfony. Current front: performance (WP suite ~1.77x the reference CPU).
Run the same PHP app the same way from dev to prod, as one Rust binary. ePHPm embeds real PHP (Zend via FFI) and bundles a web server with auto-TLS, an embedded SQLite-compatible database, a KV cache, a pooling SQL proxy, and gossip clustering, so your code and config run on a single process with no other services to operate.
A PHP-to-native compiler. Takes a subset of PHP - including eval() - and compiles it directly to native assembly, producing standalone binaries for macOS ARM64, Linux ARM64, and Linux x86_64. No VM, no external runtime, no dependencies: dynamic eval falls back to an optional statically linked interpreter.
